Designed for older adults who are looking to simplify their meal preparation and stay independent in their own homes. Clients have the choice of weekly delivery of frozen meals chosen from among 80 entrée choice along with a supportive check-in; a daily volunteer visit to heat the meal and offer social and physical support; or daily hot-meal delivery and support by a volunteer.
Senior Dining Choices delivers nutritious and delicious meals to the doors of over 370 households in Hennepin, Ramsey, Dakota and Washington Counties. Meals are ordered by each individual client from a personalized extensive menu. Meals are prepared at Senior Dining Choices' kitchen and delivered each week by delivery specialist in ready-to-heat packages. Clients are free to choose what meal to eat and when to eat the meal. Meals are delivered to any older adult without obligation to pay. However, a donation of $4.50 per entree or $6.50 per complete meal is suggested and helps support the program.

Title III
Beginning in January 2011, Senior Dining Choices is contracted with the Metro Area Agency on Aging (MAAA) to provide home-delivered meals, funded by Title III, to low-income seniors in Ramsey and Washington Counties. Title III-eligible seniors may choose from the full menu and delivery options. Eligible seniors and support agencies may register and order fully-funded meals by calling (651)746-8200 or by email at orders@optagedining.org.
Congregate Dining
Senior Dining Choices serves over 40,000 meals per month in congregate settings to over 3,700 seniors at 17 sites in Ramsey, Washington, and Hennepin Counties. Meals are served to any older adult without obligation to pay. However, a donation of $3.00 per meal is suggested and helps support the program. To find a site near you call (651)746-8200.

Optage Senior Dining Choices is a service of Optage home and community based services of Presbyterian Homes & Services. Senior Dining Choices was created to meet the nutritional needs of older adults in the community and is part a broad continuum of services for older adults offered by Presbyterian Homes & Services.
